OMB will be performing its annual enterprise architecture (EA) assessment during March 2006. As such, agencies should submit a current copy of all relevant EA program documents and artifacts to OMB by February 28, 2006. The evaluation of agencies' EAs will be input to the Q2 FY06 PMA Scorecard.

The OMB EA Assessment Framework has been updated (Version 2.0). Please note the assessment criteria have changed from version 1.5 of the EA Assessment Framework used in 2005. The latest version of the assessment (posted as of Jan. 12, 2006) includes some editorial corrections identified since the initial release in December. The scoring criteria, assessment process, deadlines, artifacts, and other content remain the same as in the December 2005 release.

Also attached is a memo with instructions for agencies to perform an EA Self-Assessment and submit their EA to OMB by February 28, 2006. To assist agencies with the self-assessment, a spreadsheet template of the version 2.0 EA Assessment Framework is available for use.
